Hey, Dolls! This is my first “haul” post so please bear with me. Also, please note, I am not a fashion influencer or ambassador, I just wear what I like and rock the hell out of it. okay?! Awesome, so last weekend as I lounged around my house I figured I would do something productive with my time, like SHOP. As I browsed through different websites I noticed that Pretty Little Thing had a 50% pre-Labor Day Sale.
Yes girl, 50%! I’m usually sensitive when shopping with sites that I’m unfamiliar with. Why? In the past, I’ve ordered with online boutiques and received clothes that look absolutely NOTHING like the picture. If this has happened to you can I get an Amen! Honestly, what am I supposed to do with that?
Uh, Skert Skert! – try again! Sent them back with the quickness. I’ve never shopped with Pretty Little Things before, had no prior knowledge about their clothing quality, but I figured I would give it a chance based on the customer reviews and co workers that shop there frequently…BEST DECISION EVER.
I like to be versatile or whatever, so I ordered a bunch of different stuff. My intentions were to order different day to night pieces. In other words, they would be appropriate for work and I could still catch a happy hour – throw on some heels grab a clutch and go! I may have forgotten about my original plan while I was throwing things in my cart, BUT I still snagged a few work pieces lol – don’t judge me!
I walked away with 8 different items!
Result – Keeping five, returning three.
Three of the bodysuits didn’t fit…#stress
If you’re interested in any of the following outfits, girl let me know! I’ve included links to each item from PLT just click on the title.
Two words… Come Through! I’m not gonna lie I was a little hesitant when I put it on the dress for the first time. It’s so big and loose that I wasn’t sure how I was going to pull it off. Then I remembered these beautiful boots that were neatly tucked in my closet. I dragged those bad boys out and Voila!
Shoes – purchased this pair last August and I was able to convince the sales man to give me a 25% discount. *snaps fingers* Issa personal sale!
I added a slim straight belt to cinch my waist and subtly hide the “bagginess” of the dress.
You guys, how could I say no? I plan on debuting this baby in a couple of weeks if the weather continues to be on my side. Lord, do me a solid! Remember when I said, I forgot about the whole work attire thing? Clearly, I let go of all logic when I chucked this one in the cart. I’ll never wear this to work BUT it will be worn! Sooner than later. 😉
Again, definitely not work related but, this should be considered an awesome date night dress. This summer I’ve been feeling the off the shoulder vibe. Nothing screams Summer more than a color shoe! Pairing these LBD with coral pumps spices up the outfit a bit, don’t you think?
Many of you might not know this, but I am borderline obsessed with Faux Fur. Like, OBSESSED. Though I’m not a fan of the fall and I despise the winter, knowing that I can finally put my fur back on puts a smile on my face. Though it’s not real (would never wear real fur) it’s super soft and comfy.
This could defiantly be a work outfit! Well, in my case without the knee highs – but it still works!
Black is a staple color in everyone’s closet. It looks amazing with almost everything, for instance, this fabulous blue faux fur vest that I recently purchased from Boohoo. They had a 50% off sale as well. Yes, God!
The black combination of black blue and denim is golden. It’s like, you tried, but you didn’t do too much, but we all know that you low key thought long and hard about your accessories and shoes and stuff. Issa Vibe, Get hip.
Look familiar? It’s the same wrap dress as the green one, just a brighter color. I’m not sure if I’m keeping this one …what do you guys think? I paired this baby with the go to black heels.
I would definitely wear this for date night, or a night out with the girls. How you feeling? Yay or nay? Sound off in the comments!
I know that’s a hell of a title, but that’s literally what they’re called. I was a little hesitant at first because I’d never seen pants with the extra frill at the top before, but I convinced myself to just go for it. To keep it simple, I paired the pants with the black long sleeve body suit and my go to black heels.
By adding a pair of flats to the mix you have a classic “day to night” outfit. Can you say work appropriate? Finally!
I hope you Dolls enjoyed this post, comment below and let me know if you would like me to continue these shopping spree segments.
Thanks for reading babes!
